This text file is supposed to track the history of the server status website for a bit.
If you want to read some of my thoughts, feel free to do so :)


This website was started in 2003 as a server status checker for international Ragnarok Online
wich I played pretty regulary back then.
After the launch of European Ragnarok, I added their servers too.

This site was created for the players of the game I loved and I hope it can
be of use for someone. I personally use the site to find out wether Im having problems to connect
due to server problems or if my computer is just messed up again. ~_~

Someone may ask if this site is commercial in anyway.
I want to clarify that it is purely not commercial.
The ads displayed on the site are just for helping to pay the server costs.
(At the time of this writing, about 10% of the costs are covered by earnings through the ads).

In 2006 support for the R.O.S.E game was added. Since its not really my type of game,
I am not maintaining the server lists there anymore.

In 2007 I started playing Silkroad Online, in July 2008 I added the Silkkroad servers to the page after
making my tool compatible to games that do not follow Gravity's server design.

In August 2008, international Ragnarok servers could not be tracked anymore. 

After having contacted the GM team without getting a response, I decided to remove RO server monitoring permanently.

Thanks to ~Slice~, a user of this monitoring tool who posted a thread 
( http://iro.ragnarokonline.com/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=19979 ) on the official iRO forums, 
it turned out that the ban was not done intentionally but a mistake during their firewall maintenance.

Server monitoring functionally for iRO/ROSE servers was restored on August,22.

Ive started top play CABAL online now from time to time, 
so I have added the server status for their servers now.
